The Assessment of Learning Potential (LPAD)
The Learning Propensity Assessment Device (LPAD) is designed to measure an individual's potential (propensity) for learning. Intelligence is not viewed as a stationary measure, according to principles of cognitive enrichment. Dr. Martha Wood and select SCEL staff members are certified to administer both individual and group assessments of learning potential, according to approved, specified guidelines for Professor Feuerstein's LPAD. Arrangements can be made through Dr. Wood for individual assessments to be conducted at SCEL in metro Atlanta, or on site for group applications. Once an assessment of learning potential has been attained, SCEL staff can then recommend a custom intervention through the proven tools of Instrumental Enrichment.
